Frequently Asked Questions

Below we have tried to answer some of the most frequently asked questions we receive regarding classes and our facilities! If you do not find the answer you are looking for please reach out to us directly.

Do you offer 100% online classes?

To be compliant with American Heart Association standards and guidance, we do not offer 100% virtual classes. You may take the Heart Code portion online and schedule an in-person skills session with us, or look into the Pre Course Work hybrid model offered by The American Heart Association.

What is "Pre Course Work" for ACLS and PALS?

All of our ACLS and PALS classes require Pre Course Work.

The "Pre Course Work" for ACLS and PALS requires that you complete the Pre Test AND watch all required videos PRIOR to coming to your in person class. While in class you will do your hands on skills, complete a mega code and take your written test, about 3 hours in the classroom.

You will receive a link to the Pre Course Work in your confirmation email after you have registered or use these links

ACLS Pre Course Work: https://elearning.heart.org/course/424

PALS Pre Course Work: https://elearning.heart.org/course/426

What is a "Skills Session" and why can't I see any available on your schedule?

A "Skills Session" is for those who complete the Heart Code portion online through The American Heart Association. These are scheduled individually and we must obtain a copy of your Heart Code complettion certificate prior to putting you on the schedule. Email us directly if you are interested in a Skills Session.

Which class should I take if I am renewing?

Any of our classes can be taken by those who are renewing OR those taking the class for the first time.

What happens if I can not make it to my class?

We understand that things happen and we are more than happy to reschedule you up to 3 times for a class you have paid for but are unable to attend. We do NOT offer refunds.

What are your COVID-19 safety policies?

We take the health and safety of our Staff and Students very seriously.

Prior to and after every class all equipment is cleaned and sanitized.

While in class each student has their own equipment and there is no sharing.

Masks are now optional for all our locations for the duration of the class.

All our Staff are fully vaccinated.
